Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont seeks a Ski & Ride School Manager to lead the program, uphold resort values, and model leadership competencies. You will focus on quality control, guest relations, staff performance development, and financial stewardship, coordinating with the Director of Skier Services and other departments.

The role requires 3+ years as an instructor, 2+ years supervisory experience, PSIA/AASI Level 2, and a strong guest-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years experience as an Ski & Ride School Instructor.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• English language fluency (written and spoken).
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment.

Responsabilités

• Connect to and develop supervisors, pros and support staff at their assigned location to understand their role in our business.
• Resolve guest complaints by utilizing company values and tools.
• Drive our business through quality control of products, labor management and safety of employees and guests.
• Communicate effectively with leadership, peers and other departments to create an environment of support and trust that will benefit staff and guests.
• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day supplies and program tools for inside and outside operations.
• Lead and model the company’s mission, vision and values.
• Contribute to development of future strategic initiatives of the department.
• Ensure staffing needs align with business needs daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
