Job summary

Vail Resorts in Ludlow, VT is hiring for a Winter Seasonal Ski & Ride School Manager. The role leads the resort’s Ski & Ride School, focusing on guest relations, quality control, staff development, and financial stewardship.

You will work with the Director of Skier Services and resort departments to ensure guest satisfaction and program success. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, PSIA/AASI Level 2 (with Level 3 preferred) and at least two years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• PSIA/AASI Level 2 certification or equivalent.
• English fluency in written and verbal.
• Must pass a background check.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather and high alpine environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Ski & Ride School operations at the location.
• Resolve guest complaints using company values and tools.
• Drive business through quality control, labor management and safety.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and other departments.
• Oversee day-to-day supplies and program tools for operations.
• Model the Company’s mission, vision and values.
• Assist in development of future strategic initiatives for the department.
• Ensure staffing aligns with daily business needs.
