Job summary

Vail Resorts in New Hampshire seeks an experienced Ski School Supervisor to oversee daily instruction, curriculum, and scheduling at the Ski and Ride School. The role includes supporting instructors, managing payroll, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of ski/snowboard instructor experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory role, plus an active PSIA/AASI certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification required.
• 1-3 years ski/snowboard instructor experience and 1 year supervisory experience required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily instruction at Ski and Ride School including curriculum development, scheduling, and assigning classes providing support with instruction as needed.
• Assist with administrative duties including hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, managing equipment inventory and reporting on guest feedback.
• Monitor and document instructor performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, including recognition, correction action, or escalation if necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Adhere to all safety related programs including policy training and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with other management, departments, and third-party organizations as needed.
• Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on school operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned
