Stowe Mountain Resort seeks an Assistant Manager for the Ski & Ride School to lead daily programs, ensure high-quality lessons, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced mountain environment.

You will oversee scheduling, staffing, and program quality, while coaching staff and maintaining safety and service standards. This seasonal role offers growth within a premier resort family and a competitive wage.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service abilities.
• 2+ years full-time experience at a ski resort or Ski & Ride School.
• Proven ability to lead teams, develop staff, and foster collaboration.
• Experience managing staffing levels and labor utilization.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Ski & Ride School programs and ensure lesson quality.
• Provide age-appropriate learning experiences for all ability levels from children to adults.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor to meet guest demand and budgets.
• Supervise Leads, Support Staff, and instructors with coaching and feedback.
• Maintain instructional standards and collaborate with other departments for seamless guest experiences.
• Lead staff development and ensure safety, policies, and procedures are followed.
