Job summary

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort in Pinecrest, CA is hiring Guest Services Hosts to inform guests about services, assist with tickets, and provide excellent guest service in all weather. You will work in a fast-paced, outdoor/indoor environment and collaborate with a team to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities include directing guests to check-in, assisting at the ticket kiosk, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting other departments as needed throughout the ski season.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work with co-workers in a positive, cooperative, team-oriented manner and to interact with customers similarly.
• Willingness to follow directions and complete tasks promptly and thoroughly.
• Must be well groomed and present a good public image.
• Heavy and awkward lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inform guests of area services and give a genuine welcome to the ski area.
• Direct guests to ticket/pass or lesson check-in locations.
• Assist guests at the Ticket Pick Up Kiosk.
• Maintain a high-energy space with a positive attitude.
• Help guests recover lost items promptly.
• Record guest data and report to the Guest Services Manager.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.
• Adhere to the posted schedule and arrive on time.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Assist with snow shoveling and deicing walkways when required.
• Verify guests have proper lift tickets or passes.
