Job summary

The Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort in Pinecrest, CA is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support Creekside Cafe operations and guest service. You will assist kitchen staff by replenishing supplies, bussing tables, washing dishes, and maintaining a neat dining area while following safety procedures.

This role requires energy, teamwork, initiative, and a customer-focused mindset during busy shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Good physical condition; may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be well groomed and present a good public image.
• Good manual and physical dexterity.
• Safety and risk oriented.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Creekside Cafe clean and neat by bussing tables, clearing trays, and general cleaning as needed.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, etc., and return items to proper stations in the kitchen area.
• Be pleasant and helpful to customers including being knowledgeable about food served at Dodge Ridge.
• Keep the dish room clean including emptying garbage and sweeping floors.
• Practice safe food handling and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Comply with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Obtain and maintain a valid “California Food Handlers Card”, ServeSafe recommended.
• Other duties as assigned, cross-training in all areas.
