Job summary

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort in Pinecrest, CA is seeking a Food & Beverage Cashier to accurately process sales and interact with guests in a fast-paced environment. The role may be based at Creekside Lodge, Lift Up Cafe, North Fork Bistro, Grab n Go or Way Station.

Candidates should have good customer service skills, be comfortable with the Toast POS system, and maintain a neat, safe dining area. California Food Handler/ServeSafe and RBS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn a computerized POS system.
• Good organizational skills and being a team player.
• Must be well groomed and present a good public image.
• Good physical condition as this position may require shoveling, lifting and carrying.
• Good manual and physical dexterity skills.
• Safety and risk orientated.
• Requires a California Food Handler/Card ServeSafe certification and RBS Certification.
• Be punctual, honest, trustworthy, and practice good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with guests in a courteous yet time-sensitive manner.
• Answer questions knowledgeably and professionally.
• Understand the Toast POS system and handle cash and card transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer, coworker, and business-related information.
• Know Dodge Ridge Food & Beverage prices and services offered.
• Stock beverages, snacks and grab’n go items.
• Keep dining areas stocked, cleaned and tidy; follow safe food handling procedures.
• Keep service counters clean.
• Cross-train in all areas as needed.
