Job summary

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort in Pinecrest, CA is seeking a Barista to prepare coffee, espresso and hot chocolate and to provide excellent guest service in Lift Up Cafe or North Fork Bistro. You will also handle cash and maintain stock, working across mid-mountain dining areas as needed.

The role requires 18+ years old with basic math skills, POS literacy, and a neat appearance. Expect on-site work with varied shifts and potential weekend/holiday hours in a team-focused food and beverage team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prior cash handling and food service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to learn a computerized POS system.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be well groomed and present a good public image.
• Good physical conditioning, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Safety and risk orientated.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso and hot chocolate, and maintain proper stocking levels.
• Demonstrate an on-going commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Accurately handle cash and change transactions; operate the POS system.
• Interact with guests, answer questions and assist with tasks to maintain smooth dining operations.
• Work at Lift Up Cafe, North Fork Bistro, Creekside Lodge or other mid-mountain locations as needed.
• Keep service areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with staff to achieve department goals.
