Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS experience with mix of exempt and non‑exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people
• Master’s degree
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
• Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization.
• Certified Safety Professional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leader
• Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead WHS program implementation and safety leadership at the site.
• Conduct risk assessments, analyze data, and implement practical safety solutions.
• Lead safety compliance, site audits, and incident trend analysis to drive improvements.
• Manage our first aid program and emergency response capabilities on site.
• Build relationships and influence safety culture among associates and leadership.
• Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into business decisions.
