Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead our Global WHS Program and champion a safer workplace. You will blend hands-on safety management with strategic thinking to protect associates while driving operational excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, risk assessment, data analysis, and the ability to influence site leaders. You will conduct audits, oversee the first aid program, and implement improvements that enhance safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the Global WHS Program implementation and champion a safety culture across the site.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze incident trends to drive targeted improvements.
Manage the first aid program and emergency response capabilities to ensure timely care.
Lead safety compliance efforts, conduct site audits, and implement data-driven improvements.
Collaborate with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily operations and performance goals.
