Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with site operations, implement WHS policies, and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations. You will lead continuous improvement to reduce ergonomic and operational risk and foster a safe environment for associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in safety/environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in operational settings.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends to support direct reports/site needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with Amazon Safety Policies.
• Measure site performance and develop fixes for deficiencies.
• Ensure safety record keeping and data integrity with accurate reporting.
• Deliver on-time, high-quality projects to Operations.
• Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to justify resource allocation.
• Audit record keeping and Global Safety Database for compliance.
• Lead and mentor Safety Managers and Safety Associates.
• Engage IPS and Site Leadership to reduce incidents.
• Conduce Kaizen events with Operations to address key risks.
• Ensure training is effective and compliant with safety standards.
