Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced production environment. Our client supports safety and efficiency across North America’s infrastructure projects and sites, with 19,000+ colleagues and 1,000+ locations.

You will operate loader, backhoe and skid steer safely, perform groundwork, monitor utility systems, and troubleshoot equipment issues while following health, safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
