Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a Utility Operator to support a fast-paced construction environment across North America. The role focuses on safe operation of loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, plus routine maintenance and on-site coordination.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and strong safety focus to read manuals, follow procedures, and work under pressure with effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
