Job summary

Quality Talent Group client is seeking a Utility Operator to support fast-paced production environments across North America. You will operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency of utility systems.

The role emphasizes following health, safety, and environmental policies while assisting with additional duties as needed. Prior experience with utility systems and strong mechanical aptitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
