Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a diligent Utility Operator to support safe and efficient operation of utility systems at multiple sites. You will operate loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, perform routine maintenance, and assist with general labor tasks on busy construction sites.

Strong communication and the ability to read technical manuals are essential. Candidates should be comfortable following safety policies and adapting to fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
