GovCIO is seeking a Senior Site Support Engineer to be based in Seattle, WA. This onsite role leads site-level IT support, mentors engineers, and ensures uptime across TSA-related environments. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in IT support, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage complex service requests across multiple operating systems.

US citizenship and DHS/TSA clearance are required. You will oversee ticket handling, KB improvements, and delivery of reliable IT services for TSA

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Site Support Engineer - Senior. This position will be located in Seattle, WA and will be an onsite.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operational uptime and reliable IT services

Qualifications

High School with 6 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• 6 years experience in IT support
• Possesses expert-level IT field support and leadership skills, enabling the management and direction of complex service request fulfillment and network/computer systems administration across multiple operating systems
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in mobile device support, intricate desk-side tasks, and deployment strategies
• Possesses the ability to provide comprehensive IT support for TSA airport staff, regional management staff, TSA executives
• Exhibits leadership in evaluating service performance, actively managing and documenting tickets, ensuring high-quality resolution, system optimization, and recommending significant changes for overall service delivery
• Skilled at applying lessons learned for the refinement of Knowledge Base (KB) articles in support of continuous process improvement
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking for technology assignments, applies advanced troubleshooting expertise, and demonstrates strong leadership to ensure high-quality resolution and system optimization across multiple tasks

Clearance Required: US citizenship is required to attain and maintain a DHS/TSA clearance

Posted Salary Range

USD $62,000.00 - USD $72,000.00 /Yr.
