Job summary

Channel Islands YMCA is seeking a Site Supervisor to help plan, supervise, and implement childcare programs across before/after school, summer, and school breaks. You will supervise children per licensing guidelines, set up activities, and ensure a safe, engaging environment with HEPA-compliant activities.

The role requires leading staff, coordinating enrollments, and supporting budget controls while maintaining strong relationships with schools and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience in a childcare setting.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Criminal record clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing childcare programs (Before/After School, Summer Camp, School Break Care).
• Supervise up to 14–20 children per licensing guidelines.
• Provide quality care and supervision in a safe environment.
• Lead activities and lesson plans ensuring HEPA standards.
• Maintain enrollment and attendance procedures and program budgets.
