Job summary

Channel Islands YMCA is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to help plan, supervise, and implement childcare programs including Before-School, After-School, and Summer Camp. You will supervise children under California licensing guidelines and provide a safe, engaging environment with positive behavior guidance.

The role requires 1 year of childcare experience, health screen and TB test, and readiness to meet California licensing/Expanded Learning Opportunities requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• California licensing requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing childcare programs (Before-School, After-School, Summer Camp, and School Break Care).
• Supervise up to 14 children independently or up to 28- given licenses.
• Provide a safe environment and guide positive behaviors.
• Ensure HEPA standards are delivered in the program.
• Assist in enrollment and attendance procedures.
