Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a Safety Coach/Manager to mentor location drivers toward an accident-free, regulation-compliant workplace. You will coordinate training, safety metrics, and audits, and travel as needed to support different shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), OSHA 10, and 1+ years in Health & Safety or Operations Management with leadership experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 1+ years of Health & Safety or Operations Management experience with leadership ability.
• Certified Safety Professional recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
• OSHA 10 hour certification completed (3+ years safety experience).
• Knowledge of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control Techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor driver safety metrics and ensure training on Smart Drive programs.
• Develop plans for 100% safety compliance and conduct safety calls.
• Handle driver probation and compliance follow-up; data collection and submissions.
• Conduct safety audits: driver logs, random inspections, and mock DOT inspections.
• Investigate accidents: scene reports, photos, interviews, documentation, and post-accident coaching.
• Perform monthly facility inspections to ensure codes compliance and safe equipment.
• Participate in other projects as assigned.
