Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Field Safety Manager to ensure OSHA and FMCSA compliance, lead a Safety Specialists team, and drive injury prevention across our Reading-based operations. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, leadership abilities, and a proven track record in safety management.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven safety improvements, and a commitment to reducing risks for our customer base and field branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in Environmental Health & Safety, Logistics, Operations Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification strongly preferred: BCSP, ARM, or CSP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA and FMCSA compliance across operations, manage CSA scores, DQ File, and DND List.
• Lead Safety Specialists team through training, coaching, and development.
• Deliver safety training programs for field staff and leadership events.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and urgency.
• Develop injury prevention strategies to reduce incidents and claims.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate safety performance across branches and districts.
• Collaborate with Workers' Compensation Manager on injury reduction plans.
• Support other projects directed by the Director of Safety & Workers' Compensation.

Education
