Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. seeks a Field Safety Manager at our Reading, PA corporate headquarters.

You will ensure safety program compliance, lead a team of Safety Specialists, and drive training across field operations to reduce injuries and workers’ compensations claims. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with significant travel exceeding 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in EH&S, Logistics, Operations Management or Risk Management.
• Professional certification (BCSP/ARM/CSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA and FMCSA compliance across metrics (CSA scores, DQ File, DND list).
• Lead, mentor, and develop Safety Specialists and provide ongoing training.
• Deliver safety training programs for field staff and leadership events.
• Manage customer inquiries with professionalism.
• Develop and implement injury reduction and prevention strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report safety metrics across branches and districts.
• Collaborate with Workers' Compensation Manager on injury reduction plans.
• Support additional projects as directed by the Director of Safety & Workers' Compensation.
