Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to oversee site safety, health, and risk management for construction projects in the Washington, DC area.

You will develop and implement site safety plans and training, and lead the ORM team through program reviews and incident investigations. Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of OSHA standards, safety management systems, and regulatory compliance across federal and commercial settings, with strong collaboration across GC, owners, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in safety or construction.
• Experience with S&H training and regulatory compliance (1910, 1926, EM-385 1-1).
• Safety Management Systems knowledge and practical implementation.
• Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Construction Project Safety, Health and Risk Management across multiple projects.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and APPs.
• Lead ORM team to review safety plans and coordinate with GC, owner, and project team.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare reports.
