Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a Site Safety Manager to support field operations with safety compliance, incident investigations, and program administration. You will promote a culture of safety, drive risk reduction, and ensure alignment with MEI EHS policies across multiple sites.

You will lead inspections, manage permits and training, and coordinate with customers and regulatory bodies to maintain a safe work environment and incident-free operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified to recognize safety hazards and implement controls.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Card (renewed every two years).
• Bachelor's degree in safety or 3+ years safety management experience.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience in multi-site environments.
• Minimum 5 years experience with OSHA standards.
• Minimum 5 years experience with MS Office Suite.
• One of ASP, CHST, or CSP certification.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations through site inspection, safety compliance, and incident investigations.
• Effectively communicate MEI EHS policies and regulatory changes.
• Provide program and administrative support of management systems.
• Collaborate with safety and operations to manage incidents and root cause analyses.
• Manage SIPPS, hot work permits, confined space, SDS, and other regs.
• Develop safe work instructions, JHAs, and training materials as needed.
• Conduct daily audits and pre-task plan approvals to mitigate risk.
• Maintain site safety records and training documentation.
• Coordinate on-site safety initiatives with customers and partners.
