Job summary

MEI is seeking a Site Safety Manager to independently support field operations across MEI sites in Abilene, TX. You will conduct site inspections, ensure safety compliance, investigate incidents, and promote an injury-free environment while fostering a continuous safety culture.

This role requires OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED, a safety degree or equivalent experience, and strong MS Office skills. You will coordinate training, audits, and incident investigations in collaboration with EH&S and

Qualifications

• Be able to recognize safety hazards and risks.
• Hold a safety-related degree or have 3+ years in construction safety management.
• Maintain current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• Possess OSHA 30-hour Construction Card and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform site inspections and safety compliance tasks across MEI sites.
• Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and promote safety culture.
• Coordinate safety training and required certifications (OSHA, forklift, etc.).
• Prepare safety documentation, audit records, and incident reports.
• Support incident prevention programs and collaboration with EH&S and operations teams.
