Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead on-site health, safety, and environmental programs for construction projects in the United States.

You will develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, supervise junior staff, and coordinate with contractors to ensure regulatory compliance and safe work practices. The role requires 5–7 years in HSE, 3+ years supervisory, OSHA 30 Construction, and familiarity with 29 CFR 1926/1910.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in HSE management for construction.
• At least 3 years in an HSE supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards 29 CFR 1926 and 1910.
• 30-hour OSHA Construction training; OSHA 510/500 preferred.
• Maintain first aid and CPR certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champions Zero Harm philosophy for health, safety, and environmental management on site.
• Develops project-specific HSE plans and tailors to project details.
• Implements HSE plan for company personnel and contractors.
• Supervises junior HSE staff and contractor HSE personnel.
• Oversees contractor activities for compliance with HSE rules.
• Acts as HSE technical lead and advises site management on compliance.
• Provides support to contractors on HSE compliance and hazard analysis.
• Reviews job hazard analyses and hazard mitigation measures.
• Performs daily site walk-downs and initiates corrective actions.
• Supports weekly HSE review meetings and stop-work actions when needed.
• Administers safe work permit program including confined space and LOTO.
