Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Sr. Safety Manager to lead the safety program for solar/BESS construction projects in Elm Mott, TX. You will oversee safety specialists, drive incident investigations, and promote ALLSAFE culture across the site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction safety management, 10+ years of safety leadership, and experience with large-scale industrial projects. On-site work with strong regulatory knowledge and reporting to the Sr. Safety Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction safety management or related.
• 10+ years of experience in construction safety management.
• Experience with large commercial/multi-disciplinary/industrial projects including utility/industrial, solar or wind energy projects preferred.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and enforcing project environmental protection plans.
• External/Internal safety auditing experience and knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote company safety culture and ensure professional representation on project sites.
• Implement and manage safety programs for construction activities.
• Collaborate with Safety Director, PM, and Construction Manager to address field safety needs.
• Supervise safety specialists on the project.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and surveillance per safety program.
