Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Craft Safety professional to oversee field safety on solar energy projects. The position is located at the project site in Mexia, TX, with daily commuting from the field.

You will promote safety culture, perform site audits, manage PPE and inspection processes, and train crews to meet company safety policies while coordinating with Site Safety and Project teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 minimum required.
• OSHA 510/500 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and company policies at the job site.
• Assist with daily safety paperwork and inspections.
• Conduct weekly site audits and manage safety equipment.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety trainings.
• Collaborate with Safety Manager and Project Manager to address safety needs.
• Enforce ALLSAFE program and emergency plans.
• Assist with PPE distribution and site safety logistics.
• Work outdoors in varied weather conditions and communicate safely.
