Job summary

CoVolt Power in Elm Mott, TX is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and manage the site safety program for large-scale solar, BESS, and HV projects. The role reports to the Sr. Safety Manager and collaborates with project teams to ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental policies.

You will develop site safety plans, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and coach field staff to uphold our safety culture and ALLSAFE principles across construction activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction safety management or related.
• 10+ years of experience in construction safety management.
• Experience with large commercial/multi-disciplined/industrial projects (solar/ HV preferred).
• Experience in investigating, documenting, and developing corrective actions for accidents.
• Experience in developing and enforcing project environmental protection plans.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety auditing.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for company safety culture and promote policies on site.
• Implement and manage safety programs for road foundations, HV work, and solar arrays.
• Collaborate with Safety Director and project team to address field needs.
• Supervise safety personnel and conduct audits, inspections, and surveillance.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; report per policy.
• Develop site safety plans including emergency actions and evacuations.
