Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Safety Coordinator to safeguard the health and well-being of workers across our jobsites by enforcing safety programs and driving Clark’s Culture of Care. You will support administration of Safety, Health, and Environmental programs and work with senior leaders to manage site risk.

The role requires pursuing an undergraduate (or master’s) degree in related fields, with OSHA training preferred. A strong passion for construction and safety is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Passion and interest in the construction industry.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 trained, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing corporate and project-specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standards
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and educating to Clark employees and trade contractors on occupation health and safety requirements
• Develop and implement project-specific safety program
• Identify potential hazards and provide immediate input, advice, and direction to mitigate hazardous conditions and assure compliance
• Conduct site-walks and report project-specific safety performance and future plans
• Working closely with field supervision to plan complex safety aspects of the project construction, including critical lifts, hazardous material handling, fire prevention, and evacuation
• Coordinating third-party safety reviews, including OSHA

Education

Undergraduate degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or related field

Master's degree in related field with expected graduation Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
