Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator to safeguard the health and well-being of workers across our jobsites. You will work with senior leaders to implement safety policies and drive Clark’s Culture of Care.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety programs, conducting site walks, coordinating with field supervision, and liaising with OSHA reviews. This is an on-site role requiring physical site presence.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing undergraduate or master's degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
• Must have passion and interest in construction industry.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 trained is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing corporate and project-specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standards
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and educating to Clark employees and trade contractors on occupation health and safety requirements
• Develop and implement project-specific safety program
• Identify potential hazards and provide immediate input, advice, and direction to mitigate hazardous conditions and assure compliance
• Conduct site-walks and report project-specific safety performance and future plans
• Working closely with field supervision to plan complex safety aspects of the project construction, including critical lifts, hazardous material handling, fire prevention, and evacuation
• Coordinating third-party safety reviews, including OSHA
