Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks a Site Safety Manager to oversee safe operation of our sites, identify hazards, and implement preventive plans. You will coordinate safety programs, investigations, training, and regulatory compliance across multiple locations.

The role requires OSHA knowledge, strong communication, and ability to manage urgent safety issues and emergency drills with a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health strongly preferred.
• Experience developing and coordinating safety programs and delivering safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the Site Health, Safety, Environmental and Security Program for multiple locations.
• Investigate unsafe conditions and incidents; perform safety inspections and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure sites comply with Veolia H&S standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety walk-throughs and monthly inspections; track findings to closure.
• Develop site-specific safety SOPs and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Maintain H&S documentation, training records, and inspection logs.
• Deliver safety training and safety communications; conduct emergency drills.
• Coordinate safety committees and respond to regulatory inspections.
