Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to apply software engineering to our large-scale cloud platforms. You will own incident response, troubleshoot outages, and drive post-incident reviews.

You will build automation to reduce toil, implement monitoring and observability using logs, metrics, and traces, and help define SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets. You will collaborate with developers and operations to keep systems fast and reliable.

Qualifications

• Experience with incident response and troubleshooting production systems.
• Ability to write automation scripts to reduce toil and manual operations.
• Strong monitoring and observability skills (metrics, logs, traces).
• Familiarity with SRE concepts: SLIs, SLOs, SLAs and error budgets.

Responsibilities

• Handle production alerts and troubleshoot outages; lead post-incident reviews.
• Develop automation to deploy, configure, and remediate services.
• Build and maintain monitoring/observability pipelines (metrics, logs, traces).
• Plan capacity based on usage patterns and forecast needs.
• Collaborate with development and operations to ensure safe production rollout.
