Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior System Development Engineer acting as an Site Reliability Engineer to elevate reliability for SupplyTech's high-throughput production systems. You will own SLOs, lead incident responses, and drive long-term fixes while mentoring peers.

You will design scalable monitoring and runbooks, embed reliability standards before launches, and collaborate with software teams to ensure robust operability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, availability, and performance of PubTech services end-to-end, including SLO/SLA definitions and error budgets.
• Build automation frameworks, tooling, and self-healing mechanisms in Python/Java/Go to reduce operational toil.
• Lead root-cause analyses for high-severity incidents and drive durable fixes and COE processes.
