Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to keep large-scale websites and cloud systems fast, reliable, and scalable. You will own incident response, automation, and capacity planning in a production environment.

This role bridges development and operations, focusing on reducing toil through code, defining SLOs/SLIs/SLAs, and improving observability to prevent outages.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE or site reliability engineering or production operations.
• Strong coding skills for automation and tooling.
• Familiarity with monitoring, tracing, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Handle production alerts, investigate root causes, and lead post-incident reviews to prevent future failures.
• Write code and scripts to automate manual operations, routine maintenance, and system deployments.
• Track system health using metrics, logs, and traces to measure latency, traffic, errors, and saturation.
• Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, and error budgets to balance speed with stability.
• Analyze user traffic and usage patterns to forecast future hardware and infrastructure demands.
• Bridge Dev & Ops to ensure new features can run safely in production.
