Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to join the Enterprise Technology - Infrastructure Platforms team. You will apply your knowledge across multiple applications and drive monitoring, capacity analysis, and AI-assisted workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows, scripting (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Java, Python or Scala), and cloud technologies, plus a focus on resiliency, security, and data sensitivity.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, storage, deployment, automation, and performance.
• Experience with enterprise AI capabilities and validation of AI-assisted outputs.
• Ability to review AI recommendations and ensure resiliency and security alignment.
• Strong Windows administration experience.
• Experience with multiple cloud technologies and cross-cloud migration.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope, focusing on data and systems at scale and end-to-end monitoring.
• Uses AI capabilities to accelerate monitoring, capacity analysis, and documentation with proper validation.
• Resolves nuances and determines escalation paths.
• Executes conventional approaches to solve technical problems.
• Drives daily activities supporting standard capacity process applications.
• Partners with teams to identify capacity risks and govern remediation statuses.
• Considers upstream/downstream data and systems implications.
• Makes significant decisions for multi-technology projects.
• Contributes to team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
• Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to improve remediation workflows with validations for resiliency and security.
