Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to drive capacity planning, reliability, and scalable infrastructure initiatives. You will apply AI-assisted methods to monitor, analyze, and remediate capacity risks across multiple platforms and clouds.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, validate AI-driven recommendations, and ensure security and auditability while delivering resilient infrastructure solutions in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
• Strong Windows Administration experience (SME).
• Working knowledge of scripting or coding skills in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell Bash, Java, Python or Scala.
• Must be curious and willing to learn.
• Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
• Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.

• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.

• Working knowledge of one or more scripting or coding skills in tools and languages such as languages: Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell Bash, Java, Python or Scala

• Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience supporting and administering Windows servers

• Experience with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, SCCM, or Windows Active Directory is a plus

• Experience working with Observability or SCIM tools.

• Experience working on AI tools
