Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join our SRE organization. This individual contributor will guide the reliability and performance of our infrastructure and software systems across multiple engineering teams, enabling rapid, safe feature deployments for customers.

Responsibilities include owning problem statements, writing clean code, estimating timelines, and collaborating across teams while maintaining observability and platform services (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of infra management or backend development in a fast-paced product environment.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Unix shell.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Comfortable in an on-call operational role and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned problem statements and drive them to completion with guidance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while improving systems.
• Estimate timelines for features and tasks, balancing effort, risk and impact.
• Collaborate across teams and clearly communicate progress and blockers.
• Develop and maintain platforms (AWS accounts, Kubernetes clusters) and observability tools.
