Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join our SRE Organization in a hybrid role. You will guide the reliability and performance of our infrastructure and software systems across engineering teams, building scalable, observable platforms on AWS and Kubernetes.

As an individual contributor, you will own tasks end-to-end, write clean code, and collaborate across teams while balancing risk and impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in infrastructure management or backend software development in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, JavaScript, or Unix Shell.
• Experience with AWS: deploying, monitoring, and scaling production workloads.
• General experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Comfortable working in an operational environment, including on-call rotations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned problem statements and drive them to completion with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while improving existing systems and features.
• Estimate timelines for features and tasks, balancing effort, risk, and impact.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly.
• Seek and apply feedback to improve code quality, technical skills, and delivery consistency.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, learning-oriented culture.
• Develop, configure, and maintain platforms (AWS accounts, networking, Kubernetes clusters).
• Develop, configure, and maintain observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Coralogix, Sentry).
• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions runners, ArgoCD).
