Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Organization. You will guide the reliability and performance of our infrastructure and software systems across multiple teams, influencing decisions and helping us deploy new features quickly and safely for customers.

You will own core platforms on AWS and Kubernetes, build observability, CI/CD pipelines, and on-call operational processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional infra or backend development experience.
• Experience with AWS deploying and scaling production workloads.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Comfortable in an on-call operational environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of problem statements and drive them to completion with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient code and improve existing systems and features.
• Estimate timelines for features and tasks; balance effort, risk and impact.
• Collaborate across teams; communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes.
• Seek feedback and apply it to improve code quality and delivery.
• Support teammates and foster a positive, learning-oriented culture.
• Develop, configure, and maintain platforms for deployed software (AWS, Kubernetes, networking).
• Develop, configure, and maintain observability and monitoring tools (Coralogix, Sentry).
• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions runners, ArgoCD).
