Job summary

Xometry is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer II to strengthen the reliability and performance of our infrastructure. You will guide capabilities across multiple teams, build scalable platforms on AWS, and contribute to rapid feature deployment for customers.

Collaborate with engineers to write clean code, improve systems, and participate in on-call rotation. This role emphasizes observability, incident response, and scalable CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure management or backend software development in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AWS: deployment, monitoring, and scaling production workloads.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Comfortable in an on-call operational role.
• Strong communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned problems and drive them to completion with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient code and improve existing systems and features.
• Estimate timelines, balance effort and risk, and communicate progress.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate blockers and outcomes clearly.
• Develop, configure, and maintain platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, networking) and observability tools.
• Maintain CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions runners, ArgoCD) and ensure reliable deployments.
