Qualifications

• Must be competent in basic computer skills, typing, spelling, telephone techniques and basic mathematics.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must follow Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and read safety labels and follow instructions.
• Must be able to follow and give technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient in operating property computer, scanner, copier, calculator and other office machines.
• Adhere to office schedule as approved by supervisor.
• Present a professional appearance and dress to business etiquette.
• Attend educational courses and pass required tests.
• Supervise personnel and manage staff communications.
• Review rental applications for eligibility and lease procedures in accordance with agency requirements.
• Collect rent, issue receipts and perform daily bank deposits.
• Conduct weekly property walks and periodic inspections; report findings to management.
• Coordinate outside contractors with bids and insurance verification.
• Handle purchasing and vendor relations following OPS procedures.
• Maintain resident relations and ensure Fair Housing compliance.
• Be bilingual in English and Spanish when required.
• Assist in managing other properties or staff as needed.
