Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to provide administrative and technical support across scheduling, cost control, subcontract coordination, and project administration on heavy civil construction sites in California.

The role requires an engineering-related undergraduate degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment on active job sites.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience on commercial or heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• High initiative, independence, personal responsibility, and integrity.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety training and uphold Atkinson safety culture.
• Engage in TRACK process; attend daily/weekly field meetings and inspections.
• Maintain relationships with craft personnel, subs, vendors, and office teams.
• Stay ahead of crew needs and manage task priorities and deadlines.
• Provide timely information, notices, and requests to agencies and subs.
