Job summary

Clark Bros, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the technical coordination, administration, and project controls for heavy civil construction projects in water, power, and renewable energy sectors.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure plans, specs, RFIs, submittals, and procurement align with contracts and schedules. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with design teams and subcontractors, and identify technical, schedule, and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, preferably in heavy civil construction, renewable energy, water infrastructure, or power infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering/Management, or related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in project engineering, construction administration, project controls, and technical coordination on major construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project engineering activities from project startup through completion and final closeout.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies, constructability concerns, coordination issues, and potential changes in scope.
• Prepare, review, and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation.
• Maintain accurate project logs and support monthly billing, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with field supervision, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure schedule alignment.
