Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Project Engineer to manage all technical and engineering tasks on a live project. You will coordinate daily with clients, trade partners, engineers, and architects, and guide planning, scheduling, predicting, and resource allocation to ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle.

You will support purchasing, submittals, scheduling, and change management, while cultivating relationships to bring opportunities and talent to Clark.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years in engineering, project engineering, or similar construction role.
• Familiar with scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Aligned with Clark Standards of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers on purchasing, scoping, and take-offs.
• Prepare submittals and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Support project scheduling and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead in development of project plans.
• Monitor material deliveries against the schedule.
• Review and negotiate change proposals with trade partners.
• Coordinate drawings with Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Draft change orders and solicit subcontractor quotes.
• Perform scope take-off and cost estimates.
• Lead project close-out and turnover documentation.
• Develop and lead training for team and trade partners.
• Build industry relationships to attract business and talent.
• Maintain a proactive, team-driven culture.
