Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC in Corona, CA, seeks a Project Engineer to provide administrative and technical services in scheduling, cost engineering, and subcontract coordination. You will collaborate with field teams to track progress, manage budgets, review invoices, and prepare change orders while upholding safety and quality on complex heavy civil projects.

Required is an undergraduate engineering/construction management degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, plus strong

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline; or similar field or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience on commercial or heavy civil construction projects
• Demonstrated initiative, responsibility and integrity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Commitment to safety and excellence

Responsibilities

• Pursue safety training and follow Atkinson safety culture
• Participate in TRACK process; attend daily/weekly meetings and inspections
• Coordinate with craft personnel, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors and home office
• Prioritize tasks by deadlines and procurement lead times
• Provide prompt, accurate information and requests to parties involved
• Communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally
• Investigate issues, ask questions and propose solutions
• Monitor budgets and ensure accurate forecasts and reporting
• Review invoices and pay subcontractors/vendors on time
• Prepare supporting documentation for change orders
