Job summary

Clark Bros, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical coordination, administration, and project controls for heavy civil construction projects.

You will work with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and project team to ensure compliance with plans, schedules, and budgets. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities safely and professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive construction experience, heavy civil preferred.
• Experience reading plans, specs, contracts, and general conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead project engineering from startup through closeout.
• Review drawings and specs to identify issues and changes.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and technical docs.
• Maintain project logs: RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement.
• Develop and update project schedules with management and field supervision.
• Prepare and review change orders, cost impacts, and scheduling impacts.
• Assist in tracking costs, labor productivity, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure official records and closeout documentation are complete.
