Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager for our US fulfillment network in New Jersey. You will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly associates, drive safety, quality, and delivery performance, and coach your team through data-driven improvements.

You will manage cross-functional collaboration with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, HR, and Quality Assurance, and balance productivity with staffing while maintaining flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and workload balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather and loud environments.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
