Job summary

Amazon Salem, MA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff across First, Middle, and Last mile workflows. You will drive safety, quality, and delivery performance while engaging your team with data-driven decisions.

You will manage large-scale projects, optimize productivity plans, and collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet business objectives. Lifting up to 49 pounds and standing up to 12 hours are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours; work in variable temperatures.
