Job summary

GDI is seeking an experienced manager to oversee janitorial operations in our Franklin, TN area. The role demands strong communication, hands-on leadership, and timely decision-making to ensure exceptional customer experience.

The successful candidate will recruit, train and deploy a capable team, manage safety compliance, and meet labor, supply and equipment budgets while adapting to changing client needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven leadership and management experience.
• Previous experience as a manager in a janitorial or housekeeping services role.
• Ability to communicate with all levels and make timely decisions.
• Experience with electronic timekeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance.
• Complete all online management and leadership training and development.
• Recruit, hire, train and deploy a capable workforce.
• Ensure all labor, supply and equipment budget targets are met.
• Conduct periodic quality audits within the facility and address deficiencies.
• Perform periodic performance reviews with client leadership to ensure requirements and cleaning expectations are met.
• Be able to adjust to changing customer needs and be hands on in all contract areas.
• Perform other assigned duties to support operation.
