Job summary

GDI, Inc. in Franklin, Tennessee, is seeking an on-site supervisor to oversee and train the janitorial staff, ensuring safety and meeting the customer’s quality expectations.

Schedule Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. Responsibilities include supervising staff, assigning shifts, managing employee relations, overseeing clock-in/out, inspecting jobsites, addressing concerns, enforcing safety, and completing required training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise janitorial staff on site.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately. Document and report to management or HR.
• Oversee daily clock-in/out procedures.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required
• Perform other assigned duties to support operations
